Rocco cultivates a passion for nature and bees, with the aim not only of presenting an excellent product, but of transmitting the love for nature and the world of beekeeping, compared to a profession like that of the beekeeper, which nowadays is unfortunately disappearing.
The experience takes place at the integrated apiary Wonder Bee & Bee, a project that combines innovation, sustainability and slow tourism with the world of beekeeping and apitherapy. Here we will find 9 hives with about 1 million bees. This will be the space where Rocco will tell you about the magical world of bees and how they integrate perfectly within the territory. After this we will move to the laboratory, in the heart of the historic center of Grottole, where you will be shown the beekeeping products.The experience takes place at the integrated apiary Wonder Bee & Bee, a project that combines innovation, sustainability and slow tourism with the world of beekeeping and apitherapy. The tour will end with a small tasting of organic honey. If guests do not want to interact with the hive, they can watch the beekeeper from a safe distance. There is a parking area on site.
We provide beekeeping jacket and gloves and anti-sting ointment
Participants will need to know if they are allergic to bees or intolerant to honey. We will ask them to sign a waiver. If you have walking problems, we will define the most suitable route for you.
