Perfect experience if you like working with your hands, if you are a creative person and if you are passionate about traditional or design objects. Nisio is the last ceramist of Grottole who preserves the memory of the ancient tradition of Grottolese ceramics. In his small laboratory you can touch and shape the clay on the wheel and together with him create small artifacts of the Grottolese tradition. Nisio is an artist of national and international fame and will be able to best transmit to you his knowledge and the secrets of Grottole ceramics.
Participants will need to know if they are allergic to bees or intolerant to honey. We will ask them to sign a waiver. If you have walking problems, we will define the most suitable route for you.
