Perfect experience if you are a lover of nature, good oil and an appreciator of bruschetta.
In this experience you will meet Giuseppe, who for over forty years has been guarding the tradition of extra virgin olive oil inherited from his grandparents, and his children Martina and Vincenzo with whom he shares this activity. We will meet in Grottole in the historic center where we will leave for the family olive grove where olives are harvested every year from mid-October to December. After a walk among the olive trees, they will explain the main characteristics of the plants present and you will learn about the production cycle of organic oil in a traditional type of oil mill, that is, operating with a stone millstone and hydraulic presses. You will then enjoy the typical “fedda” or roasted bread with extra virgin olive oil and salt.
