On this walking tour we will take you to discover the ancient tradition of terracotta making in Grottole.

Starting from the wood-burning kilns once used by the local terracotta masters, we will tell you the story of the working of this material thanks to the stories handed down by Pasquale Di Lena, one of the last potters of Grottole.

Afterwards, we will walk through the narrow streets of the village in a sort of treasure hunt of the most interesting and ornate portals – until we enjoy an aperitif with a view together.
