With the WonderResidenza every two months we will host a social innovator / a professional / a craftsman to spend a week with us, stay in the WonderCasa, work on the development of a project that has a strong impact on our community and involves both citizens than visitors.
The themes of the residences will be in line with Wonder Grottole’s philosophy and therefore linked to tourism and sustainable development.
With the first WonderResidenza we will work on the themes of beekeeping and self-construction. From 19th to 25th September we will host the engineer and craftsman Davide Tagliabue with a strong interest in design, the use of wood in its various forms and self-built architecture, his main field of research and production.
Davide will develop an integrated beekeeping project together with Rocco Filomeno, beekeeper of our community.
Thanks to his skills, Davide will develop, during the residence, a project and a prototype of an integrated apiary. It is a structure surrounded by beehives that allows you to enjoy the beneficial effects of resins and essential oils released by wax, honey and propolis. The project of the building that will be built in residence will become a model for the dissemination of this practice.
All citizens will be welcome in the planning phase.
