Presentation of the book “Villages and historic residences in the non-hotel market” with Federica Benatti and Renzo Provedel

 

The presentation of the book “Villages and historic residences in the non-hotel market” will be held on Wednesday 11 August. The author of the volume, Federica Benatti, will be present, accompanied by Renzo Provedel.

The volume explains how to start or convert hospitality projects located in historic homes and villages in Italy to give the latter new impetus.

The book is part of a series called Bed & Business, published by Dario Flaccovio Editore and edited by Danilo Beltrante, creator of Vivere di Turismo Business School. A series of manuals dedicated to the professional training of managers of tourist apartments.

Walk with the ceramist Pasquale Di Lena

 

The village of Grottole is full of hidden details scattered through the streets of the historic center. Some of these no one is yet aware of.

In a walk with Mr. Pasquale Di Lena, a local ceramic artisan, it will be possible to discover and admire all those details that make Grottole a hidden treasure.

A walk in the name of the history that lies behind these symbols to discover the village in an alternative way.

Walk with Mr. Antonio Ramaglia

A walk between present and past from the Diruta Church to the alleys of the historic center of Grottole to discover them now through the tales and stories of those who lived them several years ago.

In a walk with Mr. Ramaglia, who grew up a few steps from the Diruta Church, you will discover memories of the past linked to his childhood and to the church.

A unique opportunity to discover the culture and traditions of the people of Grottole and revive the memory of these places.

 

Tuesday 17 and Tuesday 24 from 18.30 to 20.30

Visit to the exhibition “The fragile beauty” and yoga at sunset in the Diruta Church

The event begins with a tour of the “Fragile Beauty” exhibition through the streets of the historic center of Grottole to discover the winning projects and special mentions of the Reuse the Fallen Church competition focused on the Ruined Church.

The event then moves to the church itself, where Andrea Stella, at sunset, will guide those present in moments of meditation and basic yoga positions.

A meeting dedicated to relaxation in a unique and suggestive stage.
