Your residence is our mission! Wonder Grottole is a project that works to rehabilitate the historic center of the village of Grottole (30Km from Matera), thanks to the regeneration of abandoned houses and the creation of a new community made up of locals and tourists who become temporary inhabitants.

Wonder Casa is open to everyone.
In particular, we imagine it could be the ideal place for:
—Curious travelers who love nature and the traditions of small villages;
—Families with children looking for outdoor experiences and in contact with nature;
—Small groups, couples, friends, looking for slow and sustainable tourism;
—Freelance and nomadic workers;
—Start-up teams who need to focus on their projects.

Share the experience with the local community that lives and brings Wonder Grottole to life every day! Wonder Grottole believes in the importance of tourism that is an authentic encounter with the local community, and support for initiatives to enhance the still hidden resources of the area. In Grottole we have designed these first experiences, involving the inhabitants and the Italian Sabbatical volunteers.
By participating, you can help support the project and generate new initiatives for the development of the country.

—Naturalistic walk in the Bosco Coste;
—At the lathe with Nisio;

1 week stay Rates (arrival on Sunday – departure on Saturday)
—400 € single room (for one person)
—600 € double or twin room with child
—1000 € whole apartment (up to 5 people)
Includes:
—Room with private bathroom (large shower);
—Breakfast with local food;
—Welcome aperitif (Sunday evening);
—Wonder experiences – The living room includes 3 experiences chosen from the following:
